Who this treatment suits
This treatment concentrates on the areas that carry travel and desk stress: the upper back, the neck, the shoulders and the head. It suits guests coming off a long flight or overnight bus, travellers who have been carrying a backpack, and remote workers who have spent the morning at a laptop in a café. Because it focuses on one area, the therapist can spend more time on knots than a full-body massage of the same length would allow.
What happens during the session
You lie face down while the therapist works the upper and middle back, the muscles along the spine and the tops of the shoulders with oil. The neck is treated with slower, careful pressure. The session finishes with a head and scalp massage, which is often the part that helps most with travel tension.
30 or 60 minutes?
30 minutes (320,000 VND) is a focused reset for stiff shoulders. 60 minutes (500,000 VND) leaves time for a slower head and scalp massage after the back work. If you want the whole body treated, the 60-minute Swedish massage is 550,000 VND — only 50,000 VND more — while Thai massage (700,000 VND, 60 minutes) adds stretching for stiff hips and lower back.
Telling your therapist what you need
Point out where it hurts before you start: one shoulder, the base of the skull, between the shoulder blades. Pressure ranges from gentle to firm and can be changed at any time. If you have a recent injury or a medical condition affecting your neck or spine, mention it when booking so the treatment can be adapted or another option suggested.
